my
personal life

Outside of work, I enjoy working out, biking, hiking, kayaking, and reading a good book. My faith is an important part of my life, as I regularly attend church and read the Bible. I am also a Minnesota sports fan. I live in the suburbs with my fiancée, and we enjoy traveling, cooking, and playing games together.

my specializations

Starting counseling can feel like a big step, often made during times of stress, loss, or when life feels overwhelming. As a counselor, I strive to create a safe and respectful space using a collaborative, client-centered approach, so you feel genuinely heard and supported as you work through anxiety, anger, depression, grief, trauma, and major life transitions.

I use techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help you build coping skills, emotional resilience, and practical tools for change.
