my
personal life
I live with my husband in the suburbs of the Twin Cities. I am a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady and spend way too much time talking about my kitty, Nixie. In my free time, I love to travel, read, and be creative in every way possible. I am a huge Packers fan (sorry, Minnesota!) and pride myself on my game-day charcuterie boards. Being a therapist is my true passion, and I am genuinely honored to have the opportunity to support others when they are at their most vulnerable.

my background
I obtained my Bachelor's degree from UW-Stout and my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University. In the past, I have worked in a substance use treatment facility as well as a community mental health agency where I worked with a variety of populations and age ranges, however I have found my niche in working with teens and adults. My experience leads me to believe that prioritizing a strong therapeutic relationship paves the way for meaningful progress in the therapy space. I strive to create a safe environment where clients feel free to show up as they are without fear of judgment.

my specializations
Throughout my professional career, I have furthered my passion for working with those that have experienced trauma and walking alongside them on their mental health journey. I have learned to navigate and manage my own ADHD over time, and I particularly love working with others who are facing similar challenges. I primarily operate from an Integrated approach that often leans into Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Brainspotting. As a therapist, I believe that presenting a genuine, comfortable, and sometimes humorous personality for my clients is a way for me to show up as my authentic self while also providing an environment that fosters growth and healing.
