my
personal life
I live just north of the Twin Cities with my two daughters. I have lived on both coasts and briefly in the South. When I’m not parenting or working, I enjoy playing soccer, reading books, and trying to keep plants alive. I’m interested in symbolic thinking, hip hop music, and good conversation over weekly dinners with family and friends.

my background
I received a BA in Philosophy from Bethel University and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary. I have worked with clients as young as 4 and as old as 80. I enjoy meeting people where they are at, discovering their desires for their life, and facilitating meaningful growth and change. I have experience doing in-home family therapy as well as working with individuals, families, and couples in private practice.

my specializations
While I value the science of therapy, I am especially passionate about the art of therapy, and how engaging with inner structures of meaning and belief can shape our experience of life. I use an experiential approach to therapy but also value body-based modalities with the goal of integration and cohesion. I particularly enjoy working with couples to get out of unhealthy cycles and into life-giving patterns of relating.
