my
personal life

My husband and I live in Rochester, MN. I am a mother of four adult children. I enjoy cooking, gardening, and visiting with family when I need self-care. Watching English mystery shows and traveling are my two passions. I find solace in connecting with nature and enjoy going on long walks.

my specializations

My approach to therapy is eclectic with a foundation in CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), SFT(Solution Focused Therapy), and Narrative and client-centered therapy. I aim to build trusting relationships with clients and strive to meet them where they are in their therapeutic journey. I also value the integration of multicultural frameworks. I am particularly interested in working with clients needing guidance while working through Anxiety, Grief and Loss, Trauma, Perinatal Mental Health, and Stress Reduction. I am IFS (Internal Family Systems) informed practitioner who incorporates Brainspotting into the healing experience to help gradually approach trauma-related memories, feelings and situations that have been avoided due to the distress they cause. I strive to create a non-judgmental, culturally sensitive environment for clients to heal.
