my
personal life

I live in Minneapolis with my husband and hopefully a dog sometime soon! I love exploring the blend of city and nature that Minneapolis has to offer, cooking new recipes, going to coffee shops, traveling and spending time with my friends and family. Minneapolis will always be one of my favorite cities–moving here was a big leap into the unknown and I’m so grateful to be here!

my background

I grew up in Connecticut in a blended family and moved to Minnesota to attend St. Olaf College where I got my bachelor’s in Nursing. I have been a registered nurse for 9 years with the bulk of my nursing experience being in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. While working in this setting, I became passionate about the mental health of anyone who has experienced medical trauma–whether it be a healthcare worker, patient or family member. Supporting families as they navigated some of their hardest moments has inspired me to help others on their healing journeys in a new way.

my specializations

I feel honored to work with individuals, couples and families as they explore the ways that relational dynamics and patterns impact their lives. I believe that this knowledge is vital on our path to healing, and leads to more fulfilling connections with ourselves and each other. My goal is to create a nonjudgmental and warm space for you to explore all parts of yourself. In addition, creating a culturally sensitive, affirming and shame free environment is important to me so that all feel welcome and safe. My special areas of interest include medical trauma, burnout, compassion fatigue, children of divorce, navigating coparenting, life transitions, and couples therapy. My work is rooted in empathy, compassion, curiosity and is influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and systemic modalities.
