personal life

I live with my partner, my niece, and my two dogs in St. Louis Park, MN. I like to spend my time working on crafts, playing video games, and listening to music. I enjoy spending time with family and being out in the sun whenever possible. Self care to me involves eating good food, laughing with friends, and having time to myself.

my background

I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Minnesota. I've worked in various roles in the mental health profession including mental health case management, children's mental health day treatment, and outpatient mental health therapist.
I am Leech Lake Ojibwe and believe that utilizing traditional healing practices alongside western therapy practices can lead to healing and growth.

my specializations

I have experience working with diverse populations with a focus on early intervention work with children and adolescents. My specializations include treating depression, anxiety, emotional/behavioral dysregulation, adjustment, and trauma. I believe strong supportive relationships drive healing in therapy. I strive to create a space that allows for the therapeutic relationship to grow. I utilize various therapeutic frameworks in my sessions including narrative therapy, client-centered, and trauma-informed care. I have training in the modalities of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Developmental Repair.
